The Wineries Trail is part of Nga Haerenga's 23 Great Rides of New Zealand. The trail loops through the scenic Bridge Pa and Gimblett Gravels wine-growing region and allows you to explore up to nine wineries and dozens of vineyards.  (See Map below).

Ali's Cycle Devine is located at the eastern end of Hastings and ten minutes drive from town.   We are a small family owned business, also growing wine grapes. 
 
Hawke's Bay is New Zealand's oldest wine region and was recognized as one of the Great Wine Capitals of the World in 2023.

What Services We Offer:

• E-bike hires, regular bike Hires, Tandem bike Hire & Infant seat hire.

• Shuttles - a comfortable and reliable shuttle pick-up and drop-off service for groups directly from to your accommodation.  (4 to 10 passengers).

• Free parking is available on-site for customers making their own way here.

• Overnight camping for self-contained vehicles (two sites).

   La Free (1), Liv Rove (1), Cannondale Hard-tail MTB (1),
   Merida XL (1). 
 
-  Regular Bikes: Norco Como (9). A Step-through style.
   Also, Giant and Avanti regular bikes.
 
What you can expect:

Upon arrival, your well-maintained hire bikes will be ready, along with a map, either a basket/pannier bag for wine purchases and our expert guidance!

Wine Tastings:

Groups (six plus) are advised to pre-book tastings, allowing about 45-60 minutes per winery plus cycling time. For a full day on the trail, we recommend that you start with distant wineries, finishing nearby.  Allow 5-6 hours for the experience.

Half day Rides:

Explore local options like Sileni, Paritua, Alpha Domus and Abbey Estate.
 

Don’t forget to check winery hours and book bike rentals in advance!
